Our Butlins highlights 2019!
Our time at Butlins Skegness, Bognor Regis and Minehead have come to an end for another year and we're feeling rather misty eyed about saying goodbye to the three, wonderful sites! As a cast we've made so many happy memories there and hopefully made summer 2019 one to remember for all the families that came to see us. Before we embark on our autumn tour, we're taking the opportunity to celebrate what a fantastic time we've had! Here are our Butlins highlights from 2019!
Who enjoyed seeing Chico Rico at Skegness and ringmaster Joel at Minehead?
Celebrating clown week (1st - 7th August)
It may come as no surprise to you that clown week is a rather important occasion for us circuses and it's the perfect excuse to do lots of clowning around! We love celebrating it every year and it makes it rather special that we get to celebrate at Butlins! Our Minehead cast definitely got into the spirit of the occasion.
Days off at Butlins Bognor Regis
Our Butlins casts definitely made most of their time away from the big top! With plenty to keep them busy on site, the cast weren't short of things to do! Like dynamic duo ringmaster Ryan and Andreea the clown, who couldn't say no when they were invited to the fair by some Gandeys circus fans.
Chico Rico's debut production
In honour of clown week, Chico Rico gave us a little insight into the day to day life of a clown. Chico produced, directed and starred in this debut production of 'A clowns life..' and it got quite the response from our audiences. Will it be the Oscars next for our very own Chico Rico? Let us know what else you'd like to see from Chico!
Meeting magic man Stephen Mulhern!
It's always a pleasure meeting our fans, and we think Bippo and Joel were rather starstruck by this one! Thank you for coming to see our show Stephen, it was unbelievable to meet you!
Our Butlins Minehead cast gave a bit of an insight of how circus performers cool down during a heatwave and it look liked a LOT of fun to say the very least!
Meeting all our wonderful fans
One of our favourite things about being at Butlins is having the opportunity to meet all the people that come and see us! From the newest, little additions to the family to great, great grannies, it's our pleasure to have you at our shows! Our Minehead cast had the honour of meeting a family who had come to see Gandeys not once, not twice, but TEN times! That's definitely a new record.
What's been your highlight of our time at Butlins? Let us know in the comments below!
In the meantime, if our Butlins shows have left you wanting more from our cast, you can catch us this autumn in Derby, Nottingham and Warrington! Click here to grab your tickets now!

Gia Eradze presented blue and white angelic acrobats and trapeze artists as a part of the Royal Circus troupe. Here are a few quick facts about the famous festival. - It all began... in 1974 by the late H.S.H. The Prince Rainier III of Monaco (1923-2005). He wanted to promote the art of circus by giving spectators entertainment and the chance to appreciate this 'family of underestimated people.'

If you've seen The Lady Boys of Bangkok's incredible 21st anniversary production, The Greatest Showgirls Tour in 2019, you'll know that our cast - including some of the world's most beautiful showgirls (who just happen to be men!) - really pulled out all the stops to make this year's show the glitziest and most glamorous yet!
In 2019 we popped the champagne to welcome four new cast members, including Dew, Lilly, Arthur, and the UK's only dwarf drag queen, Jamie John.
They joined popular performers from last year's Wonder Women tour Amy, Bombay, Jennifer, Naomi, Nat, Nikky, Oak, Ole, Mr Sak, Sonya, Steven and Thierry to pay tribute to some of the biggest divas of all time.
Every year we dish out awards for the top cast members... and it's that time again! We've been busy in the office deciding our favourite artistes of 2019, but now it's time for YOU to cast your vote as well, for the People's Choice Award.
