How to spend your night in Newcastle-Under-Lyme

Image
Three weeks today on Friday 11th October, we will be making our glamorous debut in the wonderful Newcastle-Under-Lyme and we can't wait to bring the party to somewhere new! One of our favourite things about visiting somewhere we haven't graced with our glitz is finding places to eat, drink and generally prolong the party! So, without further ado, here are our top picks of places to wine and dine in the fabulous Newcastle-Under-Lyme: Newcastle-Under-Lyme - we're coming for you and we are ready! Ten Green Bottles 46 Merrial St, Newcastle ST5 2AW The perfect little hidden gin haven, 10 Green Bottles serve up a large variety of craft beers, gin and wine which you can either stay and enjoy in the quaint, stylish gin bar (the first gin bar to open in NUL) or take your pick from the bottle shop and enjoy your bev at home! And for a real taste of Staffordshire, you can pick up your bottle of Stokie Oatcake gin! Unusual, but definitely delicious. Cape...

October's Top Picks

Image
FILM October is now here. Leaves are browning and falling off. But this one of our favourite months! We're all looking forward to its trick or treat ending. A "treat" for most is actor Tom Hardy, the "trick" is... he's playing a dark oozy super villain. This is another marvel film with a slightly darker feel. This black tar/slime/goo is an alien symbiote that fuses with Hardy forming a grotesque Spider-Man antihero: 'Venom' . Venom You must check out some of posters and artwork for this film, they're amazing. Venom lends himself to satisfying splatters of ink. Perhaps the web slinging saviour will make a cameo? WeAre#Venom Johnny English: Strikes Again is our comedy pick if you're one to avoid spooky October. The British buffoon is back for a third instalment. Rowan Atkinson reprises his role as the secret agent who resembles most British politicians than a Bond spoof. Firing missiles at French cyclists, accident...

Our hot picks for February

Image
February is here already! While you may be sitting there wondering where January disappeared to so quickly, we're here to help you plan the month ahead and ensure you make the most out of it! It is nearly spring, after all! So, without further ado, here are our hot picks for February: Film There's only one movie we can pick here... of course it has to be The Greatest Showman ! A musical with heart that will have you smiling throughout and singing for days. Music We're really enjoying the Swedish folk-pop band First Aid Kit at the moment, and their jaunty new album Ruins. Perfect for relaxing vibes on the drive home. Recipe We love the look of John Whaite's website, and the food isn't half bad either! We already know he can bake - he did win The Great British Bake Off after all – but we had to find out if he could cook. We tried the five-hour lamb with potato gratin recipe... and it's beautiful! Restaurant ...
