Best summer holiday picks for 2019
Summer is finally upon us! So long to fluffy socks, stuffy noses and
cable-knit sweat shirts (for now, anyway) and a very warm welcome to beer
gardens, burnt shoulders and busy beaches. More importantly, it's that time of the
year where we all take the opportunity to jet off to somewhere new.
Bring on the clear blue skies; we're ready! |
But whilst there's plenty to choose from, finding the perfect
destination can be a bit overwhelming. So, to make those tough decisions that
little bit easier, here are our top holiday destinations for summer 2019.
Bangkok
Currently in the running to be the best shopping
destination in Thailand, the bustling city of Bangkok is the best holiday for history lovers.
In the city, which has a population of over 9 million people, you can
find The Grand Palace. Once home to the Thai King, the palace was built in 1782
and contains an Emerald Buddha which dates back to the 14th century.

Plus, if you're looking for warmer weather, it's also one of the hottest cities in the world! Time to dig out that factor 30.
Meanwhile, if you have no big travel plans this summer season you can always visit the Lady Boys of Bangkok on
their UK tour for a taste of Thailand at home.
Majorca
Whether you're obsessing over Love Island this summer or not (or made to
watch it by your partner and secretly love it) there's no denying we all wouldn’t
mind laying around a villa surrounded by good looking people and free food.
Majorca, which is located in the Mediterranean, is home to soft, sandy
beaches, crystal clear coves and, most importantly, fantastic weather! And as
the largest island in the whole of Spain, you won’t be short of things to
do and see.

Las Vegas
With over 100 casinos, a multitude of bars and clubs and famous
residencies, Sin City isn't for the faint hearted.
It's also the perfect place no matter your current marital status. Virgin
have recently announced three break-up
packages to heal your heartache and celebrate singledom. And with prices
starting at £999pp, it could even work out cheaper than a wedding.
In 2018, there were reported to be 150,000 hotel rooms in Las Vegas |
