It's only been 54 years! To simply put it, Mary Poppins Returns to cinemas this December. Mary Poppins is back and reignites the childhood joy within Jane and her brother, now father of three: Michael. Let's hope this is a spoon full of sugar to help 2018 go down!

FOOD 
Gingerbread builds are rife this time of the year. If you haven't already seen this, Hogwarts is now entirely edible! Thank you Duchess Bake Shop for this brilliant bake. Maybe we could snap something off from the back and see if it tastes as good as it looks! 


Also, Walkers are at it again with their gimmicky flavours. This time around they have a festive flavours range. It was 10 years ago they did a Crispmas campaign. This is what you can find on shelves now:

TV
This year Hol and Dec are presenting 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here!' We're all now very aware Dec is 'smooth as an eel.' Speaking of eels, the trials seem to be the hardest they've ever been! We have no idea who will end up king or queen of the jungle.

Who's your favourite?

Predicting the winner is so difficult this year. It could be John who brings the camp in camp, The Chase's: Governess or the jam roly poly obsessed Harry. Perhaps Noel will get a good deal?

I'm a Celebrity Line Up 2018

Luther is not for everyone but the man playing the detective chief inspector appears to be. People's Sexiest man alive: Idris Elba could well be returning to our televisions this December. This is only speculation as it'll have been 3 years since it aired in December last. Does anyone else miss Alice?



MUSIC
Carols and Christmas songs are in abundance this month. Between Mariah, The Pogues and Wizzard, there might be a couple of new catchy hits we hear. Two Christmas number 1s ago in the charts we heard 'Rockabye'. Clean Bandit drop their sophomore album 'What Is Love' just before December. In the number 1 spot is no place they'd 'rather be'.

John Legend
John Legend - A Legendary Christmas

The Christmas album of 2018 seems to be John Legend's 'A Legendary Christmas'. He is the first African-American male to win an EGOT. That's an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and a Tony! What a feat. He's collaborated with Stevie Wonder on this new album. Perhaps this is something you can have on low while you're tucking into your turkey.



ENTERTAINMENT 
If you find yourself in Belfast around December, their 2018 Winter Wonderland awaits you and will be there until the 6th January. Full of festive attractions. There in an ice rink, attractions, games, food and bars. There's even a Christmas circus perfect for some fun festive family time. You may even recognize who's bringing you 'The Greatest Snowman Circus!'

There are debates and differing opinions when it comes to the exact history behind the circus, which is not a surprise when you take into account how long it has been around! First records of the Chinese circus - including carvings and mural paintings - date back more than 2,000 years to the Warring States period (475–221 BC), with evidence of performances developing further during the Qin and Han Dynasties (221 BC - 230 AD).
