How to spend a Friday night in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with the Lady Boys of Bangkok

The boys are officially back in toon, Newcastle town that is, and we are so glad to be back up North! We hate to blow our trumpets, but if there's anyone who knows how to throw a good night out-out, it's the Lady Boys of Bangkok and if there's any place to do it, it's Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. From getting glammed up with your besties, to the best places to grab a late-night cocktail, we've got your night in Newcastle all planned out for you, hour by hour, with paying a little visit to us included, of course.

Last year the Lady Boys rather stylishly took in the sights on a city bus tour

5:30pm

Peace and Loaf

217 Jesmond Rd, NE2 1LA

Once you're all prepped and ready to go, fuel that big night ahead with some delectable grub, courtesy of Peace and Loaf.  Deemed 'immensely creative and ultimately entertaining' by the Financial Times, this extant eatery is situated in the rather fashionable Jesmond and is part owned by Masterchef: The Professionals contender Dave Coulson.

7:30pm

Sweet Dreams Dessert Cafe

60 - 62, Andrews St, NE1 5SF

Open from 11.30am until late, Sweet Dreams Dessert Cafe is that perfect place to cave into those sweet cravings! From shakes and cakes to cookie dough and fondue, their menu is truly a thing dreams are made of...

8:45pm

The Lady Boys of Bangkok

The Sabai Theatre, Times Square, NE1 4EP

We are a little bias, but what would a big night out-out be without the Lady Boys of Bangkok?
The biggest party in town is in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne until Sunday 6th October so put on your highest heels, slip into that dress you never thought you'd wear and join 16 of the most glamorous, fabulous, cheekiest women, who also just so happen to be men!

We think the Lady Boys of Bangkok are one photogenic bunch, wouldn't you agree?

10:30pm

The Botanist

Monument Mall, NE1 7AL

Post-Lady Boys performance, you're more likely to want to hit the dance floor than the pillow! The Botanist is an effortlessly stylish cocktail haven and perfect for carrying on the night's festivities! In fact, the greenery-themed chain is so popular for it's array of cocktails that they're even hosting a cocktail FESTIVAL from 1st to 27th September! It's just like any other festival you've been to, minus the wellies and the camping. Count us in!

11:30pm

Livello

Lower Dean Street, NE1 3JE

Livello ties the vintage class of years gone by with the vibrancy and contemporary feel of Newcastle's quayside. It's the perfect place to wind down at the end of evening with a cocktail in hand, or let your hair down and dance the night away!

Come join the biggest party in town! Get your tickets for Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Belfast and more over on our website!
