Update - Big Top Circus at Butlins!

Roll up! Roll up! The Gandey World Class Productions Big Top Circus at Butlins is now in full swing, and wow - what a reception it has received. Each show has been packed full of excited Butlins holiday makers, enjoying the unique atmosphere of the breathtaking circus shows. Performing in three locations: Skegness, Minehead and Bogner Regis; the circus is certainly proving to be a popular choice for visitors and friends of the UK's best holiday resort. And being an affordable treat for the entire family, at only £5 per person, it really comes as no surprise!
 




Every show has seen holiday makers queuing out of the door, anxious to grab their seats for the start of the show. From grandparents to toddlers it has been just as exciting for us to see faces light up with the wonderment as it has been for them. The essence of the circus still maintains it's crown as being a truly magical experience for everyone in attendance, adults are transported back to sweet childhood memories of clowns and capers, whilst the children are creating their own brand new memory encapsulated within  magic of the show.

Fans of the hit TV show Geordie Shore will be pleased to see the return of their favourite stars of the North tonight, for yet another series! It's the 5th time on the small screen for the 'toon army'  this time showcasing fun and frolics on their stag and hen adventures. There are debates and differing opinions when it comes to the exact history behind the circus, which is not a surprise when you take into account how long it has been around! First records of the Chinese circus - including carvings and mural paintings - date back more than 2,000 years to the Warring States period (475–221 BC), with evidence of performances developing further during the Qin and Han Dynasties (221 BC - 230 AD). Although it is believed that the art may have actually started around 3,000 years ago!
