In the run up to Christmas there’s certain things we do each year to bring on that festive feeling. We put up Christmas decorations, eat all of the mince pies, cry in the middle of shopping centres stressing about buying gifts and of course, watch Christmas films. Our 2016 recap actually begins in late 2015 in Hong Kong.  On the 21 st of December 2015 the Royalles British Thrill Circus  packed up their red, white and blue big top and headed over to one of the biggest cities in the world to take part in the Tung Wah Charity Carnival. Along with their world class performers from England, Scotland, Columbia, Kenya, Mexico and Morocco. For the 3 months that the performers were in Hong Kong they performed their mesmerising acts to hundreds of audience members all in aid of a great cause - The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals . Meanwhile, in the UK the first 2016 show was the Gandeys ‘YourCircus Awakens’ 2016 tour. The opening night of the show was the 11 th February in Liverpool and from here it was non-stop for those involved, as the Circus went from city to city across the UK entertaining thousands of people over a course of 7 months before drawing to a close at Merry Hill in Birmingham on the 30 th of October. So it’s that time of year again when king of the talent shows, Simon Cowell , attempts to capture the hearts (and the wallets) of the nation with the next ‘Big Thing’ in music. If you’re not familiar with the X Factor concept, it’s basically a talent show whereby big names in the music biz (This year’s include: Nicole Scherzinger , Sharon Osborne , Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh ) decide who has the ‘X Factor’ – AKA who can bring in the ratings, no matter how ridiculous they may be (*cough* Honey-G *cough*). This year we saw Matt Terry take the crown with his winner’s single – When Christmas Comes Around. We’re actually quite impressed that this year, X Factor bosses enlisted the help of (actually mega-talented) Ed Sheeran to write the song and it had a Christmas theme – guaranteed to bag that infamous Number 1 slot in the chart’s, right? The Victoria’s Secret fashion show is arguably the biggest fashion event of the year and it took place last week in Paris with some of the brands hottest angels taking to the runway. Although the show took place on the 30 th of November it wasn’t aired until last night (5th) in the USA and unfortunately for us Brits, we won't see it on our screens until the 12 th of December on 4Music . BUT that doesn’t stop us from taking a gander on the released pictures from the event. After making their debut in 2015, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner returned to the catwalk looking more stunning than ever in their outrageously fabulous outfits.
