When did you last go to a fantastic festival?

We all love a good bop and the best kind of bop is a bop to some pop. Speaking of pop, there was a promising pop line up at the Lollapalooza music festival in Paris.

The 2-day festival spanned over the weekend just passed (21st and 22nd July). Who have you missed that you would like to have seen?

Here are just a few of the pop artists that delivered excellent performances!


Twenty year old Zara Larsson stole the afternoon on Saturday. Her energy and charisma flooded those around the main stage with her infectious chart hits. She started with 'Never Forget You', ended with 'Lush Life' (of course) and between treated fans to 'Girls Like', 'I Would Like' and even a 'Shape of You' cover originally sang by Ed Sheeran. If you've not listened to this Swedish siren you're missing out! You've probably already heard a 'Symphony' by her and liked it. Now you know it's Zara!

Dua Lipa, 22, was sweating tears when she performed. She blew her large Parisian following multiple kisses (MWAH! X). After her 'Blow Your Mind' entrance, she delivered her finest. This included: 'No Lies', 'Be The One', 'One Kiss' (told you... many kisses) among many more. The singer was not leaving Paris without reminding us of her 'New Rules!' ENCORE - french for 'again'. This London girl gets number ones almost every other week! Is there any doubt why? Dua-check-her out!

Olly Alexander is simply adorable. He's 28 and a part of the band Years & Years. He lit up the alternative stage in the early evening on Sunday. Olly, just like his look was joined by avant-garde dancers: a spectacle to behold. One of their newest ditties was performed first. 'Sanctify' set the scene with other hits such as 'Shine', 'Eyes Shut' and 'If You're Over Me.' He's our little 'King!' Wonder what future lies ahead for this monarch.

That's just a small section of the pop 'pallooza in Paris had to offer! Wonder if the Lady Boys of Bangkok will be performing to these singers. We're 21 next year... so who knows?!

Fans of the hit TV show Geordie Shore will be pleased to see the return of their favourite stars of the North tonight, for yet another series! It's the 5th time on the small screen for the 'toon army'  this time showcasing fun and frolics on their stag and hen adventures. There are debates and differing opinions when it comes to the exact history behind the circus, which is not a surprise when you take into account how long it has been around!
